I wanted to write more but Austin Kleon in his book Steal Like an Artist, shares an outstanding visual (based on Maureen McHugh’s work), that captures the next few lines and thoughts.

Does this happen to you?

It happens to me all the time after I start something New. This is Natural.

The Dark Night of the Soul in the above visual is what I call the Valley of Death. This is where most new projects and initiatives die down.

The key to escaping the valley of death is to keep doing what needs to be done. 

Take the Next Smallest Step. One at a Time. And Just Keep Doing this.
