I am asking this in a general sense.
Which one do you think?
Now, answer the question in the context of your business and firm.
What is more valuable for your customers – Transformation or Transaction/Access to an Investment?
A Transaction is a commodity even if it is faster, better and cheaper. It is still a commodity and will always remain one. You might use a fancy phrase like “democratizing finance” or (fill in the blank) whatever pleases you.
Transformation on the other hand is about transforming lives. It is about helping people live the lives they have imagined with their money.
Can you see the difference between the two?
Is your business transactional or transformational?
Are you transforming lives or Are you providing faster, better and cheaper access to transactions/investments?
The answer to this one will determine the real value of your firm.
