World class businesses are built on the foundational pillar of these 4 things.
Can you guess what these are?
I have coined an acronym (for you to remember) – ACED
• Actions (the quality of execution as well as the speed of action)
• Change (the ability of people to adapt to change quickly)
• Excellence
• Decisions (the ability to make prompt decisions even in the face of incomplete and imperfect available information)
So why am I telling you this?
Because if you wish to build a world class business, you need to ask yourself the following questions.
a. What decisions and actions have I taken lately?
b. What have I changed about the business in the last few years? What do I change on an annual basis?
c. How am I committed to excellence?
Writing the answers to these questions is a powerful exercise in itself.
This is yet another guarantee I am willing to give.
