Why is it that some MFDs grow consistently while others stay stuck despite working just as hard?
The answer is not effort.
It is structure.
Let me introduce you to Growth Barrier Number One.
The Unprotected Calendar (I heard this term recently on a podcast).
If this is you, you already know it.
Your day fills up with whatever comes in.
Client calls.
Requests.
Issues.
Meetings.
You are busy all the time.
But at the end of the week, you feel something is missing.
You worked hard but you did not move forward.
Growth work gets pushed.
“Will do it tomorrow.”
“Will do it when I get time.”
But that time never comes.
Because here is the truth.
If your calendar is not protected, your growth will not be protected.
Growth does not happen by chance; It happens by design.
The best professionals don’t wait for time.
They create it.
They block it.
They defend it.
Time for thinking.
Time for strategy.
Time for building systems.
Time for client experience.
Time for growth.
Because if you don’t control your calendar.
Your calendar will control your business.
And slowly, you will become operational, not strategic.
Busy.
But not growing.
Even if growing somewhat not to the extent you realistic can.
Your calendar is not a scheduling tool; it is a reflection of your priorities.
If growth is not on your calendar, it is not in your business.
Here is a simple starting point.
Block time.
Every week.
Non-negotiable and protect it. That’s what I have been practicing too whether I am writing this blog or doing any other important activity.
Block time like your most important client meeting.
Because it is.
This is just Growth Barrier Number One.
There are a few more.
If this resonated with you and you want to break these growth blockers, we have put together a Growth Workshop for MFDs. We will be doing this across India.
If you would like to be part of this, just respond with “Interested”.
We will share the details on date and venue.
Because growth is not accidental; it is intentional.
