“When I grow up, I want to be a prompt engineer for the AI that does my dream job.”
The little girl said it so casually.
Almost playfully.
But the father paused.
Because somewhere in that innocent sentence.
Was a very uncomfortable question.
What happens when the job is no longer done by you.
But by something you guide.
Or worse.
Something that does not need you at all.
Let’s look at this from the lens of the work we do.
Imagine a client sitting across you.
“Why do I need you?” he asks.
“I have access to everything.”
“Data.”
“Research.”
“Models.”
“And now… AI.”
“What exactly do you do?”
Stop right there and take a deep breath.
Because this is not a future question.
This is a present one.
For decades, our profession has been built on access and it still is for many.
Access to products.
Access to information.
Access to markets.
Access to expertise.
And that made us valuable.
But today.
Access is no longer scarce.
It is abundant.
Anyone can open an app.
Anyone can compare funds.
Anyone can generate a portfolio.
Anyone can ask AI.
If your value is built on access, it is already under pressure.
This is where most professionals get uncomfortable.
They react in one of two ways.
They resist.
“AI cannot replace me.”
Or they rush.
“Let me use AI in everything.”
Both are incomplete.
Because the real issue is not about tools; it is about identity.
What is your role?
Really.
Are you a distributor or a decision guide?
Are you someone who provides answers or someone who asks better questions?
Are you a product expert or a financial life professional?
Because AI is very good at answers.
It can process faster.
It can analyze better.
It can summarize instantly.
But it cannot do something very important.
It cannot care.
It cannot sit across a client and sense hesitation.
It cannot understand what is not being said.
It cannot hold a difficult conversation.
It cannot challenge a client’s thinking with empathy.
It cannot help someone align money with life.
And that is where your real value lies.
Let me tell you what will change and what will not.
What will change.
Routine work.
Basic analysis.
Standard portfolios.
Generic advice.
All of this will get automated.
Faster than you think.
What will not change.
Human behavior.
Fear.
Greed.
Uncertainty.
Confusion.
And the need for someone to make sense of all of this.
The future MFD is not someone who knows more; It is someone who understands better.
Understands people.
Understands context.
Understands tradeoffs.
Understands life.
Because money is not a math problem.
It is a life problem.
And life cannot be solved by algorithms alone.
The irony is simple.
The more powerful AI becomes.
The more valuable human judgment becomes.
Because clients are not looking for more information.
They are looking for clarity.
They are not looking for more options.
They are looking for confidence.
They are not looking for speed.
They are looking for reassurance.
What should you do?
Start by asking yourself one simple question.
If AI can do everything I do today, what is left?
That answer is your future.
Maybe it is deeper conversations.
Maybe it is better discovery.
Maybe it is helping clients define their goals.
Maybe it is helping them stay disciplined.
Maybe it is creating a world class client experience.
Maybe it is building trust.
Real trust.
The kind that does not break in difficult times.
At Happyness Factory, we have made a clear choice.
We do not see AI as a threat.
We see it as a lever.
A way to remove the noise so that we can focus on what truly matters.
The client.
Their life.
Their journey.
Their peace of mind.
Because at the end of the day.
Clients don’t remember your model.
They don’t remember your data.
They remember how you made them feel.
How you helped them think.
How you stood by them.
The little girl in that story may be right.
There will be jobs where people guide AI.
There will be jobs where AI does the heavy lifting.
But in our profession.
The real question is not will AI do my job; The real question is have I defined your job correctly.
If your job is to provide information, AI will do it better.
If your job is to manage portfolios, AI will do it faster.
But if your job is to guide lives.
To help people make better decisions.
To help them stay on track.
To help them live a HappyRich life.
Then you are not competing with AI.
You are complementing it.
The future will not belong to those who ignore AI.
And it will not belong to those who blindly follow it.
It will belong to those who understand where it fits.
And more importantly where it does not.
If you hear someone talk about AI Or prompt engineering Or automation.
Don’t ask.
“How do I use this?”
Ask a better question.
“What part of my work is truly human?”
Because that part is irreplaceable and it is where your real growth lies.
