The Next Secret

Now that you know The Secret, let me share another one with you.

Brad Stulberg and Steve Magness write, “A big misconception is that you have to feel good to get going. You don’t. It’s often the other way around: You need to get going to give yourself a chance at feeling good. 

Motivation often follows action.

Motivation indeed follows action. Champions know this secret well. Thus, they do what needs to be done even when they don’t feel like doing it. 

To put the above in context, 2 simple questions for you. 

  1. Does learning something new motivate you or do you have to be motivated to learn?
  1. Does prospecting motivate you or do you have to be motivated to prospect?

Which camp do you fall in?
