I am not sure if you have heard this story before. It was too powerful to not write about it.
Sometime in the 13th century in Thailand, there was a Golden Buddha statue made. This statue was 10 feet tall and had around 5.5 ton of gold in it.
There was news of an invading army coming in. The monks quickly covered the statue with dirt and little pieces of cheap glass. The invading army comes and does not notice the gold as the statue does not look appealing at all. They stay there for several decades (almost 100 years) and then leave this place.
In the meantime, people have forgotten that the statue was made of gold. They store it under a tin roof and do not value it much. One day a piece is chipped off and people discover that the statue underlying all the dirt and glass is actually gold and is extremely valuable.
Similarly, all of us already have gold inside of us. However, it might have been covered with doubt, insecurity, fear, pessimism, helplessness, or hopelessness. All it will take is to chip it off to find out the real power that resides within all of us.
Like I have said earlier, the work that you do transforms people’s lives. You are helping them live the life they have imagined with their money. The power to make a difference in the lives of people is the GOLD that we all have inside us. Trust me, we all have it. The people who are passionate about this profession/industry all have it in them.
You must believe it before others will. You got to see it before others will.
If you do see it or believe it, share this Gold (what you have inside of you) with all your friends, colleagues, family members and everyone that you know. Not many people know compassionate Real Financial Professionals like you exist.
If you have already found your Inner Gold, Kudos to you. If you have not, there is no reason to be disheartened; Find a World Class Coach (Sculptor) who will help you discover your Inner Gold.
I can assure you it is right there.
